Jola is short for Christmas Present, an abbreviation of the Icedlandic. We named her our Christmas present because she was unexpected (Lukka was bred with Dyggur, but didn't show) and she was born in the Christmas season. She's more affectionate than a family pet, and full of spirit. She's faster than Mom at high gaits!
